LAUNCHING OUR YEAR-ROUND SPIRIT WEAR STORE… AND MORE!
Earlier this school year, we chatted with Renata Watts, Marketing & Communications Director at Donahue Academy, about the school’s new website. One of the goals of the new website, Mrs. Watts shared at the time, “is to ensure it grows with the school, reflecting the latest on all things Donahue – from our educational model to how we live out the Catholic faith, and of course, the school’s spirit.” So it comes as no surprise that this weekend the school is unveiling its new Shamrock Shop, which goes beyond the expected school uniforms.
For example, if you visit the Shamrock Shop today, you can buy tickets for the upcoming “Newsies Jr.” Logic Stage Musical – set to take place from March 14 to 16. In addition, you will find tickets for Donahue Academy’s upcoming AMICE Conference, which takes place from June 20 to 22, and in this second annual installment will focus on “Beauty in the Life of the Classical, Catholic Educator.” (Don’t miss the QR codes on the right so you can secure both tickets!) And, beginning yesterday, March 01, the Shamrock Shop now features a new Spirit Wear store that’s open all year!
“We had a partnership with BNS Team Sports that was working well, but only allowed families and friends to buy items for a few short weeks each year,” said Mrs. Watts. The new Spirit Wear shop is the result of a partnership between the school and local business Superior Standard, owned and operated by Ave Maria resident Andrew Howard. “As a company, we pride ourselves in service, faith, and integrity. These values are similar to what is taught at Donahue. We look forward to creating a lasting impression that goes beyond our partnership. A bond that allows each party the opportunity to be creative and innovative,” Mr. Howard offered.
To celebrate this exciting milestone, the store will feature free shipping on all orders placed between March 01 and 07. Orders will be shipped to the school by March 22, just in time for the next Spirit Wear Day scheduled for March 24.
The shop includes a variety of items to show off the Shamrock spirit, such as Donahue CamelBak Water Bottles in both charcoal and oxford blue ($28) and the perennial favorites: Youth and Adult T-Shirts (starting at $17 and $20, respectively) and Hoodies (stating at $28 and $35, respectively). Other items in the line up include a Donahue Tote Bag ($15) and branded Notebook ($16). A Woven Blanket (starting at $55) will soon be added.
What else is in store for the Shamrock Shop? “We hope to expand into books so we can bring our wonderful, Pre-K to Grade 12 literature reading lists online too!” answered Mrs. Watts.
