Michael Olbash, M.Mus.


Mr. Olbash leads the Logic and Rhetoric School choral programs and directs liturgical music at our daily school Masses. He holds a BA in Music from Harvard University and a Master of Arts in Music from St. Joseph’s College in Indiana. He has held positions teaching sacred music at Pope St. John XXIII National Seminary, the Immaculate Heart of Mary School in Harvard, MA, and St. John’s Seminary in Boston, and has been awarded both the Choirmaster Prize and the S. Lewis Elmer Award from the American Guild of Organists. He is a former board member of the American Federation Pueri Cantores and has served on the faculty of the sacred music colloquia of the Church Music Association of America for the past several years.
