Meredith Flynn, M. Ed.


Mrs. Meredith Flynn graduated from Lehigh University with a B.A. in international relations and anthropology and holds a masters degree in education from George Mason University. She has taught Grades K to 9 in a public charter school setting in Northwest DC, Boston, MA, and Herndon, VA. She joined Teach for America in 2008 and continued teaching for 6 years serving as a Special Education Teacher, Special Education Coordinator, Mentor Teacher for Special Populations, and a Resource Teacher for Reading, Writing and Mathematics. She is trained in the Wilson Reading Program, a science of reading research-based program, Reading Mastery, and UFLI Foundations. She is married to Daniel Flynn and they currently have 4 children, 3 who attend Donahue. Mrs. Flynn is thrilled to serve children in need of specialized instruction as well as to support the incredible teachers at Donahue Academy.
