Sports have always been an integral part of Mr. Carletta’s life, both as a player and supporter. A Donahue Academy graduate, he played basketball from Grades 5 to 12, joining the Rhetoric Stage team while still in the Logic Stage in Grade 7. Mr. Carletta then went on to play two years of college basketball at Ave Maria University. His family has lived in Ave Maria from its inception, since he was 4 years old! All three of his siblings also graduated from Donahue Academy. He now calls Ave Maria home alongside his wife, and he hopes to start his own family soon. Mr. Carletta is excited to be starting this new chapter at Donahue Academy, and he looks forward to becoming the best gym teacher he can be.
