About
The Ave Maria Institute for Catholic Education, AMICE, is dedicated to the renewal of Catholic schools in the New Millenium.

Mission
Ave Maria, therefore, is in many ways a center of excellence in Catholic Education. Donahue Academy occupies a unique position within this context as its flagship primary and secondary school. A school robustly animated by the mission of encountering Christ and pursuing excellence in all things.
Whether in the passionate application of the tenets of Catholic and Classical identity in its curriculum sequence and tools, its planning and operations functions, or the cultivation of its community, Donahue Academy answers the call to the New Evangelization not only in and for Ave Maria, but also for peer schools seeking to strengthen or renew their commitment to the best of Catholic educational principles.
Personnel
The Institute is led by Donahue Academy’s Principal, Dr. Marc Snyder, with the support of fellows who are members of the school’s faculty and administration.
