Donahue Academy’s 2025 Giving Tuesday Campaign

This year, on december 2, give-$25-and-tell-5 for donahue!

THE INVITATION: GIVE-$25-TELL-5
This year, Giving Tuesday – the worldwide day when millions of people give to the causes they’re most passionate about – will take place on December 2. “It’s a day that encourages people to do good by investing their treasure in institutions and causes that matter. Please give to Donahue Academy and help to safeguard the future of Catholic, classical education in Ave Maria,” appealed Dr. Marc Snyder, Principal.

THE OPPORTUNITY: PROTECT CATHOLIC EDUCATION IN AVE MARIA!
Donahue Academy’s Giving Tuesday campaign, Give-$25-Tell-5 asks staff, families, and friends of Donahue, including parishioners, to “donate $25 and tell 5” other family members and/or friends in their network to do the same. “We hope to reach our $150,000 goal that day,” says Mr. Wil Hampton, Donahue Academy’s Director of Advancement. “We count on our community’s desire and commitment to make a difference in the lives of parish children and build the Church. We’re confident they will step up to the challenge, and, together, we can meet our goal to support our parish school, Donahue Academy,” Mr. Hampton concluded.

Why support Ave Maria parish’s school?

The Challenge: Finding Faithful Catholic Education
In the quest for an education that honors the teachings of the Catholic Church, many parents face a pressing dilemma: Schools often prioritize academic excellence, yet rarely focus on nurturing the entire person – mind, body, and soul. Unfortunately, the status quo leaves parents feeling unsure about how to find an institution that aligns with their values. They fear that schools: – Fail to address children’s spiritual and moral education within regular curricula. – Fail not only to teach but also to embody the principles of living a virtuous life. – Force a compromise between academic rigor and spiritual fidelity.

Our solution: A Transformative Catholic, Classical Education
Donahue meets these challenges with an authentic Catholic education, rooted in the classical tradition, that forms the whole child.
– We champion faith formation, character development, and academic rigor while nurturing fine arts appreciation and athleticism. We engage students’ minds, bodies, and souls so they grow in virtue. – Our curriculum is designed to inspire a love of learning and a deep appreciation for truth, goodness, and beauty. Students learn to encounter Christ in every subject, so that their education integrates with their spiritual journey.
– We are committed to helping children mature into wise and charitable individuals who courageously embrace God’s calling – because education is not just about grades, but also about becoming a beacon of hope in the world!
