Ronald Garcia, M.Th.

Mr. Garcia comes to Ave Maria from Phoenix, Arizona where he spent six years teaching second grade and middle school as well as serving as Dean of Students at Great Hearts Classical Academy.   For 10 years prior to that he was in the Diocese of Madison, Wisconsin and the Archdiocese of St. Louis, Missouri where he taught, worked with inner-city youth, and had a variety of positions in the Church, including Director of Religious Education.  Born and raised in Jamesville, Wisconsin, Mr. Garcia was in law enforcement for 11 years before becoming an educator.   He earned an MA in Theology from the Institute of Pastoral Theology at Ave Maria University, and when offered this position at Donahue Academy, he felt like it was Divine Providence.  Mr. Garcia and his lovely wife, Nicole, have been married seven years and have three living children, Therese, Dominic and newborn Augustine.
