Mrs. Byers graduated with a degree in English Literature and a minor in Theology from Franciscan University.  She holds a credential in Elementary k-6 as well as English Secondary.  She recently moved to Naples from Sacramento, CA where she taught math at Presentation of the Blessed Virgin Mary Catholic School followed by a year as a Grade 6 teacher at John Adams Academy Charter School.  She and her husband, Stephen, have 9 wonderful children and their first grandchild on the way! Her Catholic faith plays a central role in both her life and her teaching. She believes in nurturing the whole person-body, mind, and soul-and strives to integrate faith, virtue, and academic excellence in the classroom.
