What Does Happiness Look Like?

June 27, 2022

Fr. John Belmonte, the Superintendent of Catholic Education in the Diocese of Venice, asked some of our younger students to draw him a picture of what they think happiness looks like. While family and friends would most likely figure prominently in any child’s drawing of happiness, what really sets students at Donahue Academy, our parish school, apart is how many of them chose the Sacraments as their vision of happiness. We trust Fr. Belmonte is as happy with our students’ drawings as we are.

Donahue Academy is looking for summer help to clean and paint classrooms and other small projects. Must be 18 years or older. Some flexibility in hours. Pay is $15/hour. Great position for a college student home for the summer, so pass it on!

We are also seeking help with our high school PE classes for the 2022-2023 school year. Class runs from 2:30pm to 3:20pm Monday, Wednesday and Friday. This is a paid position.

We also have a full-time lower grade aid position (with benefits) still open as our school continues to expand.
