Congrats MS Basketball!

March 7, 2022

Thank you to everybody who helped make this year’s Grandparents Day a success! Our students were enriched by the time spent with an older generation of the Faithful and visiting grandparents were able to see living proof the Faith is being passed down here at Donahue Academy.

Congratulations are in order for our Grade and Middle School Basketball teams. The 5th and 6th Grade Girls, 5th and 6th Grade Boys and 7th and 8th Grade Boys Basketball teams all won their respective conferences this year. On top of that, both 5th and 6th Grade Boys and Girls teams finished their seasons undefeated. 5th and 6th Grade Boys coach Jessica Copeland had this to say about the team:

They were joyful, charitable, energetic, hardworking and determined. They brought that energy and enthusiasm to every practice and game. They represented Donahue Academy incredibly well. What I loved the most was how they cheered for each other. They were a joy to coach!

Please mark your calendars for Donahue Academy’s upcoming celebration of St. Joseph on March 19th! Similar to our fiesta for Our Lady of Guadalupe, the event begins with Mass at 5:00pm in the parish, followed by a procession to the parish school where we will all enjoy a festive Italian dinner. The feast honoring St. Joseph is free to attend, though an RSVP is required. A link to the RSVP form can be found in the Announcements box on our website homepage, DonahueAcademy.org.
